INGREDIENTS –
For potato masala
- 5 potatoes – bubbled or steamed, medium-sized
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon ginger – finely chopped
- 1 green chili – chopped or around 1 teaspoon
- 1 squeeze asafoetida (hing)
- ½ container chopped onions
- 8 to 10 curry takes off – chopped
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ container water
- Salt as required
- 2 tablespoons coriander takes off – chopped, (cilantro)
Other fixings
- 3 mugs Idli Player or Dosa Player
- ½ container onions – finely chopped
- ½ glass tomatoes – finely chopped
- Sambar Powder as required
- red chili powder as required
- Butter or oil as required
INSTRUCTIONS –
- To begin with of all, warm two tablespoons of oil in a dish, include chana dal and urad dal to it, include mustard seeds, and let it crackle
- Include asafoetida, ginger, green, and onion, and let it cook for some seconds. Include curry clears out and bubbled pounded potatoes and sear.
- After including turmeric, ruddy chili, and salt as per taste, mix well and broil this blend for some seconds. Include green coriander and blend and turn off the fire.
- Now warm the dosa tawa on the gas and oil it with a small oil. Spread the hitter by filling it with a scoop. Let it cook for a few seconds.
- Pour the arranged potato blend over it and spread it on it as a layer. Flip the uttapam and broil it from the other side as well and appreciate this masala uttapam.
