Ingredients :
Half- cup rava,
3-4 tbsp yogurt,
2 onions,
2-3 carrots,
2-3 green chilies,
2 tomatoes,
salt as need, oil, water as require
Add half a cup of rava to a mixing bowl, followed by half a cup of water. Mix it well to form a smooth batter. This is the first step in making a delicious rava uttapam recipe. Set the batter aside for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the vegetables by chopping onions, green chilies, tomatoes, and bell peppers, grating a carrot, and finely chopping coriander leaves. Add 2 tablespoons of yogurt, salt as required, and 3 more tablespoons of water to the batter. Mix everything well. The batter should have a spreading consistency—not too thick or too thin. Set this aside.
Grease your tawa well with a few drops of oil and rub it with a kitchen tissue. Once the pan turns hot, pour half of the prepared batter onto the tawa and spread it gently. Immediately sprinkle the chopped veggies over the batter and press them down gently with a wooden spatula. This ensures the veggies stick to the uttapam when you flip it.
Drizzle oil or ghee around the edges and cook on medium heat. When the edges begin to leave the pan, gently lift the uttapam with a spatula and flip it. Cook on both sides until fully done. Serve these instant rava uttapam recipe creations hot with your favorite chutney.
