Dal Fry
Ingredients: Ghee 3 tbsp, Tuvar dal ½ cup, 3 tbsp moong dal, turmeric ¼ tbsp salt as require, 1 inch chopped ginger, 1 tbsp red chili powder, 1 green chili, 1 ½ cup water, 1 medium finely chopped onion, 1 tomato chopped, ½ tbsp chopped garlic, ½ tbsp cumin seed,3-4 whole dry chili, asafoetida,1/4 cup coriander leaves finely chopped
Process: First of all we soaked both dal for an hour then drain water from it, put pressure cooker on flame pour dal, add salt as need, ¼ tbsp turmeric and water, cover the lid and 4-5 vessel it, in other flame we put a heated pan, pour ghee, add cumin seeds, a pinch of asafoetida,3-4 whole red chili, ginger, add garlic stir it properly, then add chopped onion and fry it until it change into golden brown, add chopped tomato, salt as need, ¼ tbsp turmeric, red chili powder, mix it well add some water if needed, add coriander leaves, it should be soften, on the other hand dal is ready, pour dal in this tadka and mix well for 4-5 minutes, now it’s ready for serve.
