Fish Fry Meal
Ingredients for fry fish:
Boneless fish 1 ½ kg. (wash fish and keep it in strainer that’s why water will drain out from fish), salt as taste, garlic- 20-25, green chilies 4-5, lemon water ½ cup, oil for deep fry.
Ingredients for coating: wheat flour 4 tbsp, gram flour 4 tbsp, red chili powder 1 tbsp, fried cumin powder 1 tbsp, kasuri methi 1 tbsp, chili flakes 1 tbsp, crushed coriander 1 tbsp, turmeric powder ½ tbsp, black pepper powder ½ tbsp mixed spices ½ tbsp, chat spice ½ tbsp, ajwain ½ tbsp, salt as require, orange food color ¼ tbsp
Process: First of all, in a grinder, pour garlic, lemon water, and green chilies, and make a fine paste. Then, transfer the fish into a bowl, add the paste to it, and mix well. This is the first step in preparing a delicious fish fry meal. Cover the fish and keep it aside for 1 hour. After that, we will prepare the coating for the fish.
In a bowl, combine gram flour, wheat flour, salt, coriander powder, fried cumin powder, red chili powder, turmeric, ajwain, chaat spices, mixed spices, black pepper powder, chili flakes, kasuri methi, and orange food color. Mix everything well. Next, take a piece of fish, coat it thoroughly in the mixture, and create a thick layer. Place the coated fish on a plate after ensuring it’s evenly covered.
Now, heat oil in a pot over the burner. Once the oil is hot, fry the fish on medium flame for 2-3 minutes without touching it. Then, flip the fish and fry both sides until they turn golden brown. After frying, remove the fish and place it on tissue paper to absorb any excess oil.
Now, your fish fry meal is ready to serve with green chutney.
