Dahi Vada


Half cup moong dal, half cup white urad dal, 1 inch finely chopped ginger, salt as needed, 2 green chili finely chopped, 2 cup curd, 2 tbsp crushed sugar, 1 ¼ black salt, pinch asafetida,   1 tbsp fried crushed cumin powder, 1 tbsp crushed red chili powder, 1 tbsp chat spices, green chili sauce, tomato ketchup

PROCESS:  First of all soaked both dal in water for 3-4 hour, then strain water and in blender grind both dal, batter should not too much thin, use less water if require in grinding, after that mashed mixture until it becomes fluffy, then add green chili, add ginger in batter and mix well then in a heated pan we pour oil, and in other pot we pour water, add some salt, add pinch of asafetida in water, in heated oil we fry vada both side and after fry we drown vada into water for some time , in a bowl we take curd and mashed properly, add crushed sugar in it, after that  we put out vada from water and smoothly press vada, in serving bowl we put vada in it, pour curd above it, add black salt, cumin powder, add red chili powder, add chat spices, green chili sauce, tomato sauce over vada, now dahi vada is ready to serve.
