Kashmiri Kahwa

Kashmiri Kahwa Recipe: 

Here’s a basic recipe-

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 glasses water
  • 2 inches cinnamon – utilize genuine cinnamon and not cassia cinnamon
  • 2 green cardamoms
  • 2 cloves
  • 5 to 6 dried rose petals – optional
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or include as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon green tea clear out or included as required
  • 4 to 5 almonds (chopped) – optional, can too include walnuts instep
  • 10 to 12 saffron strands (optional) 

INSTRUCTIONS:


Preparation:

  • Get all the flavors prepared 
  • Take the cinnamon, cloves, and green cardamoms in a mortar pestle. Smash them gently.
  • Cut almonds daintily. Almonds can be pulverized too within the mortar pestle. You’ll indeed utilize 2 to 3 walnuts out of almonds.

Making Kahwa

  • In a pot, take the water. Put the pan on the stove-top on medium heat.
  • Add the gently smashed flavors and dried rose petals to the water.
  • Include sugar or include as per taste.
