- 4 cups of Cold water

- 1 Teaspoon Cumin seeds
- A pinch of Hing Salt to taste
- 1 Tablespoon of oil
- 1 Lemon (optional)

- Prepare the buttermilk base
- Flavoring Majjige by adding ginger, green chilis, and coriander leaves
- Prepare the Tadka by oil, adding cumin seeds, curry leaves, and pinch of hing (over medium heat)
