Palak Kofta Curry
Ingredients :
300 gram palak or spinach
1 cup besan or gram flour
½ tbsp coriander powder
½ salt
1-2 chopped green chilli
Half- inch garnished ginger
1 tbsp red chill powder
For curry ingredient : 3 tomatoes , 2 green chilli, ginger and 2 tbsp cashew, blend and make paste
2 tbsp oil, 2 tbsp coriander leaves , 1 tbsp jeera, 1 pinch heeng , ¼ tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tbsp red chilli, 1 tbsp garam mashala, salt
First of all we prepare batter for kofta , palak leaves wash and chopped it properly, drain water from it after that add besan, coriander powder, green chilli, ginger and salt, mix it well add some water as need ,then take small portion of mixture and make a round shape ball, in a hot pan pour oil and fry it till it becomes crunchy then put it out in a plate.
Now we will make curry after heat of oil we put cumin seeds, asafoetida and then turmeric powder, coriander powder fry it little after that put the tomato , garlic, cashew , ginger paste in it, add red chilli also and fry it till oil separates , our gravy is ready after that add 2 cup of water, the gravy is kept thin because the kofta’s absorb the water and the gravy automatically becomes thick, add salt and mixed spices and let the gravy boil. The gravy is ready and now we add kofta in it and cover it for 2 minutes in low flame after that we will put fresh green coriander in kofta and it’s ready to serve it.
