Winter is incomplete without Gazar ka Halwa. Who needs any occasion for this delicious dessert? Make your season’s first carrot halwa with this easy recipe. Whether you use condensed milk or mawa, it’ll be super delicious. Let’s start with the ingredients:

• Ghee
• 1.5 kg – 2 kg carrot (grated)
• 20 Cashews (chopped)
• 20 Almonds (chopped)
• 5 Cardamom (crushed)
• 300 gm sugar
• 250 gm Mawa
• 1 cup of milk

Step 1- Heat a kadai and add 5 tablespoons of ghee. Once the oil has melted, add the carrot. Roast them for 2-3 minutes, cover the lid, and let the carrot cooks for 5-6 minutes.
Step 2- Stir the carrot until you can see the juice coming out of it. Cover it again to cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes.
Step 3- When the carrots seem soft, they are cooked. Add sugar and mix them well. Cover the lid again for 5 minutes.
Step 4- Increase the flame and stir them continuously until the juices reduce.
Step 5- On the other side, you can roast the mawa on a low flame until its color changes. It takes at least 5-6 minutes.
Step 6- Add milk to the Kadai and stir continuously for another 5 minutes. Add mawa and dry fruits to the mixture.
Step 7- Mix all the ingredients. You’ll smell the aroma of halwa.
Step 8- Your tasty Gazar ka halwa is ready to taste. Garnish it with more dry fruits while serving if you want. Enjoy!!
