Badam Milk

Badam milk is an Indian popular drink that is a mixture of almonds, sugar, and fresh milk. If you are a person who doesn’t prefer plain milk, then this drink is going to be your favorite. The aroma of saffron makes it more flavorful and delicious. Let’s start with the ingredients:

INGREDIENTS

• 20-25 almonds
• 3 tbsp sugar
• 2 cups of raw milk
• Cardamom powder
• Saffron (optional)

LET’S MAKE


Step 1- Soak the badam in a bowl of water for 5-6 hours or leave it overnight. Now, you need to peel the skin of all the almonds.
Step 2- Boil the milk on a medium flame.
Step 3- At the same time, you can make an almond smooth paste. Add the peeled almonds with some drops of milk.
Step 4- Once the milk is boiled, keep stirring it for 8-10 minutes. Add sugar and mix it well.
Step 5- Add almond paste and sprinkle a pinch of cardamom powder. Mix them well. You can add saffron now.
Step 6- Keep boiling the milk for at least 10 minutes until it turns into a little thick consistency.
Step 7- Turn off the flame. Delicious hot badam milk is ready to taste. If you want cold badam milk, let it cool down. Do refrigerate it for at least 1 hour and enjoy it!!!
