Veg Cutlet

Cutlet is one of the popular evening snacks made with mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and with some spices. They are crispy and tasty, which your whole family will love. You can make these in different shapes and sizes and enjoy them during your tea time. Let’s start with the ingredients:

• 4-5 potatoes (boiled)
• Bread
• Oil (to fry cutlet)
• 1 capsicum (finely chopped)
• ½ cup cabbage (finely chopped)
• ½ cup carrot (finely chopped)
• 2 tbsp flour
• 1/3 tbsp Black pepper
• 1 tbsp ginger (grated)
• 2 Green chili (finely chopped)
• Salt
• Red chili powder
• 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped)

Step 1- Firstly mash the potatoes without any lumps. Add capsicum, carrot, cabbage, green chilies, red chili powder, ginger, and salt according to your taste.
Step 2- Break the bread slices and put them in the mixer. When you get the bread crumbs, add half of them to the Step 1 mixture.
Step 3- Now, mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Add coriander leaves to the mixture.
Step 4- Take flour in a bowl and add water, mix them without any lumps and make a thin paste. Add salt and black pepper to a batter.
Step 5- Now, take a small piece from the potato mixture and give it a shape (as your wish). Flatten it with your palm. Dip the patty in a batter and immediately in bread crumbs.
Step 6- Heat the oil to fry the cutlets. Deep Fry them until they become brown on both sides. Take them out from the pan once it’s done.
Step 7- Your delicious veg outlets are ready to taste. Serve it with red sauce and green chutney or any dip.
