Mushroom Masala Veg Recipe:

Here’s a simple recipe to make one-

Ingredients:

  • 250g mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 green chilies, slit
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions:

  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Allow them to splutter.
  • Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for a minute.
  • Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.
  • Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add sliced mushrooms and mix until they are coated with the masala.
  • Cover and cook for 8-10 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Once the mushrooms are cooked and tender, sprinkle garam masala and mix well.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
