Today we are making Potato wedges, if you haven’t tried this snack before, I am betting you’re gonna love it.



  • 3-4 Potatoes
  • ¼ cup of flour
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • ½ black pepper
  • Salt (as per taste)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano



Step 1– Gently wash the potatoes and peel them (you can keep the skin if you don’t prefer to peel it)

Step 2– Cut them into thin slices. Add them to a bowl of cold water and keep the bowl aside for 30 minutes.

Step 3– Now take out the potatoes and put them in a bowl of boiling water. Boil it for 5 minutes. Keep it aside to let it cool.

Step 4– Take a bowl, and add flour, red chili, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add 1/3 cup of water. Mix all the spices with water.

Step 5– Add boiled potatoes. Mix them until they are well-coated.

Step 6- Heat up the gas with oil. Add potatoes and deep fry them until golden and crisp on medium flame. You can double fry them as it makes them crispier.

Step 7– Your Crispy and delicious potato wedges are ready to serve. Serve it with red sauce/ green chutney/ chili sauce/yogurt dip as per your choice.
